Range is still the biggest problem. Unless every EV is able to provide a decent range of 250-300 miles (which is not the case for two wheelers, trucks, buses, heavy machinery etc which easily provide this range on gasoline), range would be a problem.
Fast charging is good but for areas where the infrastructure is not yet developed, the sales and adoption of EV is dominated only by range. Apart from one-two manufacturers who are successful, the entire industry is actually struggling due to low power of batteries. Infrastructure development is going to take some time and until that happens common people are only concerned about range that the vehicle would give them in single charge.
